New questions entering the market
New listings are grouped into desks so high-volume categories do not bury emerging questions elsewhere.
See what the market learned before it becomes a headline.
Live probabilities can reveal changing expectations before conventional news catches up. This radar surfaces persistent, liquid moves—not every flickering quote.
How Pretickted determines a headline
Screen: We require a move of at least 4 percentage points, plus at least 20 contracts of 24-hour volume, 50 open contracts, or $20 of reported liquidity. Quoted spreads must be no wider than 30¢.
Measure: Now is the midpoint of the best Yes bid and ask when both exist; otherwise we use the last trade or available quote. Before is the probability immediately before the displayed window. We use rolling 1-hour changes where snapshot history supports them, otherwise Kalshi’s 24-hour comparison.
Rank: Markets are ranked by change size and activity, with liquidity rewarded and wide spreads penalized.
Organize: Headlines excludes sports and routine gas/diesel price contracts by default because those are market data, not breaking news. They remain available in their topic desk and Everything. New listings are ranked separately.
